Welcome to Countryside Watch
Countryside Watch is for rural residents to work together, as well as working together with the Police and other Agencies to bring down crime within our Countryside - original "Country Watch" scheme started back in 1995.
The civilian coordinator (Tricia) encourages residents to report any and all incidents to North Yorkshire Police immediately; to raise awareness to crime reduction information and to assist in reducing crime within the rural areas.
The Police can be contacted by calling 101 if it is not an emergency or 999 if it is urgent. See here for guidance on calling 101/999.
This website is for anyone and everyone who has an interest in reducing crime and protecting their property within the rural Community - regardless of location and the information contained within this website can be used by anyone within the rural Community of the UK or abroad.
