Crime Prevention

There are plenty of crime prevention devices readily available on the open market and not all are "heavy on the pocket"!

By ensuring that adequate precautions are taken - it could mean the installation of a CCTV system in the more "remote" areas of a farm or rural business - it's possible to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.

It could be as simple as placing a couple of bales of hay across a vulnerable gap in a hedge so that nature can then take over, or placing an obstacle over an area that's not gated to ensure that vehicles can't access fields.

One of the best crime prevention options is to keep eyes and ears open, and to report suspicious incidents immediately to the Police on 101 or 999 - even if there appears to be no immediate action / reaction, the information is logged for future reference by the Force thus enabling them to "map" an area regarding illegal activity.
