30/11/2011 On the 30/10/2011 a vehicle was seen at a farm in Toll Bar, Bentley Doncaster. It was a Silver Mondeo style vehicle being driven by a woman with dark hair. This appears to have been part of a burglary where £2000 worth of saddles were stolen but recovered nearby the next day. Please be aware of this vehicle and if you see anything matching the description acting suspiciously, to get in touch with Police on 101. Cameo is a thoroughbred gelding with a white star on his forehead, mixed coloured right back hoof (cream and black in the hoof area), with white pastern. He has distinctive scarring on his hind legs and has one noticeable horizontal scar on the outside of a hind leg (believed to be the left but can't be sure). He has very high withers and an unusual tissue gowth on both front fetlocks (look at his front ankles from his front on, the joint down from his knee) - more noticeable to the touch. Cameo IS micro-chipped - 985101022073349. He was underweight at the time of theft, with some ribs, shoulder blades and hips more visible than they should be. He is on supplements and vitamins to help with his weight gain and will suffer without them. He is in specialised care and was due to see the farrier. It is IMPERATIVE that Cameo is found and returned to his rightful owner. It is believed that the horse is being kept with a previously taken horse by the name of Delilah who is approx 16hh, red and white, sports horse type mare. This bridle has half rubber lined leather reins - also in black and also brand new, these had martingale stops on (black rubber stops). The bridle had a Sprenger Aurigan KK Ultra bit - brass colour mouth piece with stainless steel rings - rough size of mouth piece 5 1/2inch. This bridle also had a brand new Sabre black leather full size hunting breastplate with running martingale attachment. Also hung up with this bridle but not attached was the standing martingale attachment which had a stainless steel clip. 3) 1 x black leather over size Albion drop noseband - again brand new - the part that sits over the nose is roughly 1 inch wide, has 2 buckles - 1 each sid eof the cheeks, and wasnt attached to a bridle. 4) 1 x black leather full size sabre finesse bride - this has a raised and gel padded brow band and flash noseband. However the noseband didnt have the extra strap on for the flash part so looks like a plain caveson with a little leather loop at the front. Again this bridle was brand new and had brand new black full size half rubber lined leather reins - again they had black rubber martingale stops. this bridle had a Sprenger Aurigan KK Ultra bit - again brass coloured mouth piece with stainless steel rings - rough size of mouth piece 5 1/2inch. this bridle also had a brand new black leather full size Sabre hunting breastplate. This didnt have any martingale attachment on. 5) 1 x brown leather full size sabre bridle - flash noseband but again no flash strap on so looks like a plain caveson with little leather loop. Not brand new and leather was scuffed on noseband. leather is slightly dry. This had a raised brow band and caveson noseband. Again this bridle also had brown half rubber lined leather reins, the reins were a few years old and there was some damge to the stitching on the rubber. This bridle had a stainless steel loose ring lozenge bit rough mouth piece size 5 1/2inch. this bridle also had a sabre leather hunting breastplate with martingale attachment - again this is a few years old so some scuffs to the leather. 6) 1 x brown leather sabre full size grackle bridle - leather was dry. Grakle noseband has sheepskin pad on the underneath of the cross over leather patch. Has raised brow band and also has brown half rubber lined leather reins. Bit again is 5 1/2inch loose ring lozenge bit. also had a brown leather full size sabre hunting breastplate . 7) x brown leather cob size GFS advantage bridle. Has raised brown band and caveson noseband. some scuffing to noseband and some corrosion to buckles. Has Sabre full size half rubber lined leather reins and 5 1/4inch stainless steel loose ring french link bit. There is potentially a link with the theft of gates and the most recent loss of horses. Offenders gained access via a field in some type of 4x4 vehicle. Offenders had pulled part of metal barrier out of the ground to access the field and moved a large cut tree trunk with vehicle. Use gripping tool snapped several padlocks to gain access to barns and storeroom and rear containers. One container had a make shift office within and storage area for saddles. "Paint" is a 15.22 brown and white Skewbald Cob-X gelding. He is mainly white but has coloured marks on his right nostril. He has a brown block of colour that extends from his right eye across his forelock area and includes his left ear and most of his left cheek; on the underside of his neck is a large block of brown. All four limbs are white with feathering and on his left back leg is a coloured patch that extends into his groin. The right side of his body has a triangular coloured area in the saddle area and he has two more coloured areas over his right hip and right stifle areas. His left side has a large colour patch extending down his flank into his groin. At the moment, the top of his tail is bald where he has rubbed it away; he has minor sweet itch that affects the top of his tail and slightly on his mane. At the back where the jockey door is, there is some crash damage when someone went into the back of it. Two lines gong towards the stirrup steps as the glass has cracked. The trailer is mainly white but has a navy double-band around the middle and an Equi-Trek logo and telephone number on the back. There is a single tack locker on the nearside of the trailer and it is also a side off-load and the ramp has some damage to the third section of rubber which is hoof-shaped.
