The Policing Pledge

The Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is headed by Sgt Ann Smith.

Sgt Smith is also a statutory Partner on the Rural Area Forum Support Group representing North Yorkshire Police.

Poaching

PC Graham Bilton (North Yorks Police Wildlife Officer) is offering advice to local farmers. Reporting has increased and Ringmaster has been used to send out crime-related messages to rural residents.

The rural community is asked to ensure that extra vigilance is taking place to report any and all suspicious vehicles/incidents in the rural area at the time they occur.....
